Amazing combination Tour, 3 days Toubkal trek and 3 days desert trip which will take you to Imlil town, the point from where you will hike & explore Atlas Mountain on the following days to get to fulfill your dreams to visit the Sahara Desert dunes by camels in Marzouga.
Itinerary
DAY One: MARRAKECH – IMLIL 1700M – TOUBKAL REFUGE 3207M
After breakfast we have 1h 30 drives to Imlil village, and we will begin the trek. Heading along the Ait Mizane Valley, we first pass Aremd village and then onto the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch. We then continue east and by crossing the flood plains our route take us along mule tracks and up into the high rocky cliffs above the valley crossing the river we eventually come to the pastoral shrine of Sidi Chamarouch, which attracts tourists and pilgrims. From here the trail continues to climb steadily, snaking and zigzagging its way up to the snowline in ( in winter ) and the Toukbal Refuge (3207m), our stop for the night, Approx 4 to 5hrs walking. Height difference 1507m between Imlil and Toubkal hut.
Day Two: TOUBKAL REFUGE 3207M – TOUBKAL SUMMIT 4167M – AROUMD VILLAGE 1940M
Very early in the morning, you will start to climb this beautiful summit that is the Toubkal, the highest 4167m, a grandiose panorama North Africa in the south or Siroua lies, the only mountainous massif in Morocco with the cultivation of saffron, west of M (goun where the brightness is clear, all the plain of Haouz and all the surrounding After the peak, return back to the refuge for lunch and continue the descent Aroumd village 1940M. Accommodation in Lodge. 9 to 10 hours of walking
Day Three: AROUMD VILLAGE – TIZI N’TICHKA – TELOUAT KASBAH – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZAT – GORGE DADES
First we cross the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass of the High Atlas Mountains. You will pass through many Berbers villages, and once in the desert, riverside oasis and barren hillsides are clustered with Kasbahs. After lunch we drive further to Valley of the Roses, with beautiful views of the Dades valley, valley of a thousand Kasbahs. Overnight in Dades.
Day Four: GORGE DADES – MERZOUGA DESERT
After breakfast we drive to Todra Gorge and after a short stop there we drive on to "Auberge" at the dunes of Erg Chebbi We will arrive there around 4 and after a short break you will ride camels into the dunes, where you will spend the night in Berbers tents. After seeing a beautiful sunset you will enjoy a fantastic dinner.
Day Five: MERZOUGA DESERT - MARRAKECH
After viewing the most beautiful sunrise and having breakfast at the camp site you will ride the camels back to the Auberge from there it will be a long day driving back to Marrakech, again via Tichka pass.

Clothes and Equipments:
Should be dress according to altitude and the environment you will be located in. The most hikers are in high altitude climate in remote area. Therefore, there are often large temperature swings. Temperatures are usually colder at the high altitudes.
Trekking Clothes:
- Trekking boots or light weight walking shoes. Have comfortable footwear is essential for a good trek. Make sure all footwear is broken in well prior to your trek. Do not break in boots on your trek,
- A track suit and a pair of track shoes to wear in lodges
- Two pairs of woolen socks for trekking shoes and track shoes,
- Warm down jacket and rain proof jacket with hood for protection from rain
- Warm hat for the cold and sun hat or cap for sunny days
- A pair of woolen gloves and a pair sandals
